The Family Discipleship Track is designed to encourage, inspire, connect, and equip everyone navigating the homeschooling journey. This year, our Fall Family Conference centers on the theme Homeschooling for the Glory of God. It is our heartfelt desire that each session will inspire you to keep your homeschool focused on this divine purpose.
Whether you’re a parent, grandparent, newlywed, single, teen, or child, all are welcome to participate in these sessions. Our goal is to provide meaningful insights and practical tools for everyone involved in homeschooling, fostering a strong sense of community and shared mission.
Even if you’re not currently homeschooling but are curious about what it entails, this conference is a great opportunity to explore. You'll hear firsthand experiences, gain valuable knowledge, and connect with seasoned homeschool families. Whether you're considering homeschooling in the future or simply want to learn more, attending will give you a well-rounded understanding of the journey, equipping you to make informed decisions.
The Kids Track offers a variety of engaging opportunities for children and teens to grow in their faith and leadership skills. Children ages 5-12 will enjoy a fun-filled experience with drama, music, scripture memorization, object lessons, hands-on projects, and games. Teens can participate in the Leaders in Training program, where they’ll gain hands-on ministry experience and leadership skills, or serve as Student Leaders, helping teach and build relationships with younger children. Those with a love for little ones can volunteer in the nursery, and teens interested in drama can be part of the NFH production, The Great Adventure, reinforcing the conference lessons through acting.
Leaders in Training is a transformative, hands-on leadership experience designed for 13-14-year-olds. Participants will step into real ministry settings, serving as classroom assistants while also engaging in dedicated instruction time. In addition to this immersive experience, they will take part in dynamic large group sessions at the Kids Track, further equipping them for leadership.
Throughout the program, students will develop essential leadership skills—learning to lead engaging games, share captivating stories, and confidently teach in a classroom setting. This unique opportunity allows young leaders to grow in their faith, strengthen communication skills, and gain practical ministry experience—all while making a lasting impact.
The additional cost of $35 covers meals, a T-shirt, and learning materials. If possible, we encourage our LITs to attend an extra day and join our staff in preparing for the conference on Thursday, September 25. Meals will be provided: lunch and supper on Thursday and Friday, and lunch on Saturday.
One of the greatest joys of our Kids Track is raising up the next generation for Christ’s glory. Student Leaders will have the opportunity to teach lessons, lead games, invest in the lives of children, and build lasting relationships with other young adults.
To prepare for this impactful role, Student Leaders are required to attend our Leaders' Training on Thursday, September 25, 2025.
We are delighted to bless your family by offering nursery care for children ages 1 to 3. Our loving and dedicated staff will sing, pray, and care for your little ones while they rest and play.
We kindly ask that parents keep infants up to 12 months with them during the conference. Infants are welcome in all sessions, and a designated play area will be available for parents who need to entertain their babies throughout the event.
Nursery care for children ages 1-3 will be available from 8:45 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Friday and from 8:00 AM to 12:15 PM and 1:15 PM to 3:00 PM on Saturday. To ensure our staff has time for lunch, we kindly ask that all children be picked up during the Parent Conference lunch break. Parents are responsible for providing lunch for their little ones during this time.
We look forward to caring for your children and helping create a meaningful and enriching experience for your family.
Your 4-year-old preschooler will enjoy a rich, engaging experience—watching the drama, singing, discovering truths from God’s Word, playing, and resting. It will be a wonderful time of both learning and fun.
Please pack a sack lunch and snacks for your child on both Friday and Saturday. Note that refrigeration will not be available, and we kindly ask that you avoid sending colored drinks.
If your teen has a passion for acting, this is the perfect opportunity for them! The NFH drama offers a fun and meaningful way to bring classroom lessons to life, helping kids gain a deeper understanding through engaging storytelling.
This year’s production, The Great Adventure, follows a family of missionaries who are shipwrecked and find themselves in a land full of opportunities for evangelism. A variety of roles are available, from comedic and dramatic to serious and villainous characters.
Teens interested in a larger role must attend at least five of the six rehearsals. All rehearsals will take place in the Omaha area on the following dates:
• July 27 – Script Read-Through
• August 17, 24, 31
• September 7, 14, 21
• All rehearsals will take place from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
We can’t wait to see everyone’s creativity and passion come to life!
Does your teen have a heart for caring for young children? We'd love for them to help serve in the nursery! Our nursery workers will provide care for children ages 1-3 while their parents are encouraged and equipped through the Family Discipleship Track sessions.
